I absolutely LOVE this book!!! I lost my husband a few weeks ago and was looking for some books on grief when I saw this at the bookstore. I flipped through it and something inside me told me I had to get this book. I have not regretted purchasing this book. I LOVE IT!!! I love how it is full of things to do designed to help you relax, reflect, and let go. You don't even need to read the book from front to back. I sometimes just pick a spot open the book and read/do wherever the book falls open. Some activities are just reading, some writing, some drawing, some journalling, some cut and paste, etc. It has helped boost my creativity; helped me to see things in a different light, as well as helping me through some tough days.

This is my first Flow product, so the fact that some of the content is apparently recycled from previous publications isn't a problem for me. It's a beautiful book, of course, packed with ideas, art, paper crafting supplies, prompts for lists and musings, and lots more. A concern for me is that I was looking forward to using the "bound in cards" included, and this is difficult. The cards are actually meant to be postcards, which I could use, as I belong to a postcard swap. Unfortunately, they don't meet U.S. Postal Service size specs. A postcard mailed in the U.S. must be at least 3.5 inches by 5 inches; these postcards are 3.5 inches by 4-3/8 inches. They're formatted as postcards, with an address space on the reverse side of the art side, but in order to mail one in the U.S. I'd need to put it in an envelope--then it would cease to be a postcard and become a small note card. I know this wouldn't bother many people, but for me it's a disappointment. That said, there is much, much to use and enjoy in this wonderfully designed and rendered book.

I ordered this in advance of printing simply because I liked the theme and I've enjoyed other Flow products. This book is the best! If you love paper, scrapbooking, art journals or anything like that, you'll appreciate this book. I thought it would be soft cover but it's not. Beautiful!!

Reading this book will lower your blood pressure and take you to a calmer place. It is filled with opportunities for self reflection and self care.

This book is well-made and filled with pretty bits and pieces and articles. For anyone who has already bought the Flow Magazines and Specials, this book is a repeat of those materials. However, if you are new to Flow, this is an awesome look into what makes it such a great magazine.

This book is colorful, sturdy, filled with so many cute unexpected surprises, but it’s also mature. It’s not something you would buy for a child .The “exercises” in this book really helped me out during a time in my life when I needed some self reflection, and I needed to kick myself in the butt.The title is quite appropriate. You definitely want to take your time going through this book, reading it, doing the exercises, basically you want to absorb it and the lessons it teaches you.My suggestion is to read through it first, bookmark at the areas of interest to you – no matter where they are at in the book-, then go back and proceed from there. You do not have to go through this book in order.If Chapter 1 then chapter 10 appeals to you then by all means proceed at that pace. If you are in any type of support group or have one or two friends going through similar paths in life, this would be a great “group book“Gather once a week and do the exercises together.Sometimes an outside view/opinion/ hearing other people share add a unique perspective .What I love about this book is it is perfect for individual or groups, you can take it as a lighthearted or as serious as you want to, or both, the excercises will have you thinking and feeling.This book unleashes a fun creative side while helping you heal & deal with life.
