I came into this thinking I was going to be told some truths on how to be still and listen as God ministers. Boy, was I wrong! This was a cleverly told short story about an angry, bitter, jealous, Christian man who lost his way and was given a second chance to do things differently and in God's right way.Through his dreamlike status, God whispered to him and showed him what really matters in this life. He needed to be Grateful for the opportunity to do better.This very short story can be an eye opener. This spoke to me in so many ways and I'm in awe with the message and thankful for second, third, fourth, etc. chances given to get it right. Wake up...follow the daily instructions and listen as God whispers loudly.Yes, I recommend this very, very short story!!! [It was free from Amazon, it caught my attention, therefore I purchased it]
I read the short story in one day. I bought this book 2 years ago, I have been feeling a small tug in my heart to read this one for a day or two. It pulled me in and I just wanted to find out more. Near the end before the revelation I gasped aloud. The book definitely makes you realize the Lord could be speaking to us in ways we are unaware. This one was pretty awesome!I will definitely be recommending to friends and family.
I was born and raised in a Christian home with parents very involved in our local church, my father was the bus minister and youth minister and my mother taught a Sunday school class and Awana class. Growing up in a Christian home you always hear about God and Jesus on a daily basis.Many continue on their path with the Lord and many walk away or wander off the path God has for each of us.This book is a quick dose of reality. From the very start you are drawn into this family's life. And through the father's eyes you see how God had worked in his wifes life and his childrens lives. And then you learn how God worked in his life without him realising it.How in one quick moment, one horrible accident, how very much this families life could have changed and how God used this incident to show the father what a great life he really had and how he had always been there. How the father just wasn't listening. God was truly whispering loudly.This book moved me to tears, touched my heart and my soul and I to realize maybe I haven't been listening as closely as I should be. Great book...
Sometimes in this hurried up world we sometimes take for granted or worse yet lose sight of what is really important. Take pause and read this powerful short story and I promise your life will never be the same. The man in the story could easily be you or I. One minute driving down the road complaining about rushing to another one of the kid’s activities, your spouse’s demands, a lost promotion and the next crashing into a tree…Truly powerful but no doubt God inspired as Hibbard has an amazing way with words that capture the heart. He creates a tale that brings forth a very moving, timely message for anyone caught up in the trappings of life. Yes God whispers and He will cause us to listen even if it is loudly. Hear what God has to say to you as you read “When God Whispers Loudly†as this is one I and I guarantee you won’t soon forget.
A very inspiring story... One part I will always remember is this: “I will tell them the same message as I have been telling you for so long, I told you every day, and showed you in a thousand ways, but you were too busy to listen. How loudly must I whisper before you hear Me?†The story is about a father who was obsessed with earning money to pay for food, and shelter for his family. So obsessed, that he missed the messages that God send him. A promotion was taken away from him and he was furious with God. He was so distracted by this promotion being taken away that he ended up in an accident resulting in him being comatose for 15 years. He and his family suffered through the darkness to come into the light. Chris M. Hibbard is a very talented writer and I am looking forward to reading more of his books.
So I highlighted the following quote because it had the most meaning to me:I told you every day, and showed you in a thousand ways… How loudly must I whisper before you hear Me?Since it repeated that phrase at the end of this story I am pretty sure that quote sums up this whole book.While if only took me about 13 mins to read this book I have to say it was still a good read.How loudly? How loudly will God have to whisper until I finally hear Him? How loud until you hear Him? It's something I'm still working on.....I'm holding out for the still small whispers of my Father and praying for a heart that will heed them!

This Gives Me Hope Even@ My Laziest "Why Me GOD" Moments. Just Walking Down The Steps 3 Weeks Post Op From A Knee Surgery. Married Only Since 1989.Hunny Listened As I Read These Pages & Tears Welled In His Eyes & Fell Down His Loving Face.If This Does Not Have Anyone Re~Think Their Actions Honestly No Idea What Will. This Is/Was A Blessing To Read & Amazon & Partners Deserve Kudos. When I Do Walk I WILL Write An Update About This E~Book. WHY? Because It Is Simply This Good To NOT Do So & Everyone WILL Be Better For Having Done So. Perspective Is Wonderfull. Life w/o Walking? Has It Wistfull Moments.
